Deputy Nursery Team Leader

Job description

Due to expansion, Brown Bear Childcare are offering the opportunity to join our friendly, caring team of practitioners in our nursery group.

We are committed to the development of both our children and staff and offer a competitive salary.

The position is full time working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday between 8am to 6pm, part time hours may be considered.

The successful candidate will be caring for children aged between 3 months and five years old and should have the following skills and experience:

Relevant Level 3 or above childcare qualification
A happy and helpful team player, with a passion for working with children and providing high quality care
Hard working, caring and reliable with ability to work on your own initiative as well as take part in the wider nursery team
Good awareness of the Early Years Foundation Stage.
Excellent communication skills
Previous experience of working with children in early years is desirable.
With experience of supervising/leading staff
